Our Programs
United for Dignity Alliance operates a set of interconnected programs designed to deliver emergency support, sustain essential medical care, and strengthen community systems in Gaza. Each program is locally led, shaped by community priorities, and supported by global partners who help protect, resource, and scale impact.

UFDA’s work spans three integrated domains:

-
Humanitarian Response: Immediate life-saving and protective assistance
-
Medical & Health Continuity: Sustaining clinical care and primary health systems
-
Recovery & Development: Early recovery, capacity building, and system strengthening

Together, these domains form a continuum that protects current life and lays foundations for future stability.

Dignity For Palestinians
Humanitarian Response
When displacement, infrastructure collapse, and civilian risk intensify, UFDA mobilizes emergency support targeted to urgent needs through our Dignity For Palestinians program. This includes:

-
Safe drinking water access and sanitation
-
Food security and nutrition support
-
Shelter, hygiene supplies, and protection kits
-
Emergency and critical supplies to sustain households

These interventions are designed to reduce immediate risk, protect dignity, and support families while other systems stabilize.

Gaza Cancer & Chronic Care Network (GC3N)
Medical & Health Continuity
Cancer and chronic disease do not pause in crisis. Through our GC3N program, UFDA supports a continuum of care for patients whose health outcomes depend on consistent treatment pathways.

This network focuses on:
-
Treatment continuity for cancer patients
-
Support services for renal, cardiac, and endocrine conditions
-
Coordination with clinical facilities to prevent treatment interruptions
-
Psycho-social support for patients and families

Our role is to protect access to lifesaving care and build resilience in community health systems.

Afaq Learning & Child Protective Services
Recovery & Development
The Afaq Learning & CPS program brings education, psychosocial support, and community engagement together. It is a safe, structured space where families and children access:

-
Early childhood and adaptive learning activities
-
Structured play and emotional support
-
Life skills and community workshops
-
Connection with local mentors and educators

The Program strengthens social cohesion and supports recovery from trauma, empowering caregivers and children alike.

The Haven Program
Medical & Health Continuity
UFDA advances access to safe, comprehensive reproductive health services, prioritizing respect, autonomy, and dignity through the HAVEN Program. This includes:

-
Antenatal care and safe delivery support
-
Family planning and counseling
-
Postnatal care and breastfeeding support
-
Access to essential medicines and supplies

This program is guided by health standards and delivered in collaboration with local health workers to preserve dignity and clinical quality.

Integrated Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)
Medical & Health Continuity
Mental health care is essential to survival, recovery, and dignity. UFDA integrates trauma-informed, culturally responsive mental health support into health and humanitarian services, ensuring care is accessible and trusted. This includes:

-
Psychological First Aid delivered through frontline health and community services
-
Task-shifted counseling and non-clinical psychosocial support to expand access
-
Focused psychotherapy for trauma, anxiety, and depression
-
Safe, confidential referral pathways for individuals with severe or complex needs

By embedding tiered mental health care into existing systems, UFDA strengthens health outcomes, restores dignity, and builds long-term community resilience in the face of prolonged crisis.

Gaza Lens
Recovery & Development
Rebuilding dignified systems also requires visibility. Gaza Lens is UFDA’s media program documenting everyday life, resilience, and humanity in Gaza—centering people and lived experience beyond headlines and statistics. This includes:

-
Human-centered storytelling that reflects daily life, culture, and resilience
-
Local filming and field documentation led by Gaza-based storytellers
-
Story research and development grounded in consent, care, and global relevance
-
Ethical safeguards prioritizing dignity, safety, and non-partisanship

Through credible, firsthand narratives, Gaza Lens connects global audiences to Gaza in ways that are ethical, grounded, and deeply human—while honoring the realities of life in crisis.
How UFDA Programs Work Together
UFDA does not operate programs in silos. Each initiative is part of a coherent continuum:

-
Humanitarian support stabilizes immediate needs
-
Medical continuity keeps people alive and healthy
-
Developmental activities strengthen systems that persist after crisis

This integrated model allows us to respond now while safeguarding the capacity to recover and rebuild later.
Anchored in Local Leadership
Every UFDA program is defined and directed by Gazan professionals, community leaders, and local institutions. International partners provide resources, technical support, and advocacy, but real decision-making rests with those closest to the needs.

This model:

-
Reinforces dignity and agency
-
Reduces dependency
-
Enhances cultural relevance and sustainability
-
Improves operational speed and accountability
