UFDA’s Humanitarian Response program was created to help families affected by conflict meet urgent needs, including access to food, clean water, hygiene supplies, shelter materials, medicines, and other essentials.

Humanitarian Response is now a legacy program, rather than one of UFDA’s continuously funded core programs. We may activate it when funding is specifically designated for a clearly identified humanitarian need and our local teams can deliver the response safely, responsibly, and effectively.

All assistance is locally led, independent, and guided by assessed civilian need—not politics.
